A while back I got a flier in the mail from the Berea Alumni association advertising some kind of Dinner+Baseball game thing. The tickets where a bit much, but it looks to be fun. Well, that thing is tonight. Pulled Pork Sandwiches + Chips + Soda + Hotdogs + Other Berea Alum + Baseball = TEH WIN.
I'm taking my parents with me. I'd take Rathmann, but he's got a weird factory job thing going on so I never know just when he works, so I didn't order 4 tickets back in the day.
It should be fun. It's only minor league baseball (The Lexington Legends), but I haven't been to a baseball game since like 1992 or something. My Uncle Bill and Aunt Judy took me and my only male cousin, Tomboy, to a Louisville Cardinals game.
That Cards game was a double-header. I forget who they played, but that doesn't matter. It was fun. I remember the mascot beating the snot out of a dummy umpire. :D I remember looking out of the stadium and being like "Whoa, we're up high."
Good times.
Hopefully today'll be as I predict.
(Dinner at 5:30 there, then a 7:00 PM Baseball game. I'm going to be there all night.)
