Burning Computers

Yes, yesterday the computer was literally on fire. Here's an e-mail my friend and colleague Viktor sent me earlier today:

Elisha,

geat is beck at 2:00 p.m.! (on Friday)
No data was lost!
The reason for the trouble was a burnt power supply unit!
It was replaced by Bread. The old one was used from node #7 that was
officially dead for quite a while.

The police are only minutes away.

Even if the dispatcher had done his job, the police were probably breaking some granny's door down, shooting her husband, and searching for the methlab in her bathroom.
