I think, therefore I Am

I think I've had something of a revelation tonight. Or I've remembered something I had known and then discarded. I'm not sure which, but it certainly makes the future infinitely clearer, and removed the false patina of nostalgia from the past. I have seen into the abyss, and I know that it can do little other than peer back at me.

The things I have, at least those worth having, cannot be taken away from me so callously and casually. They remain mine, bound to me in Truth, and action. Things that are dependable, and good, and all those other words like that, and which no amount of minor stupidity can sunder.

I guess it's funny that the things you really value the most are the ones that you take for granted, and the things that you've once fought over or for simply turn to ash.

Would I do everything the same way again? Most likely, because I am a creature of habit. But I'd hope that somewhere in my heart and in my mind, I would remember the future lessons, and change things, even if only slightly.

Shooting down the alien dropships

So Friday, we all got together villainside to shoot down some alien warships during their invasion. Below are some screenies of all the villains, and then some of the combat. Final tally was something like 30 dropships shot down.
