City of Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky
When last we saw Ricky, he had broken out of prison in the east after killing the Gang of Four and the evil Warden, and along the way he had foiled their plans to grow Opium in the prison. Sneaking aboard a freighter, Ricky made his way across the Pacific to America. In San Francisco he found himself embroiled in a fight against a gang of super-powered men with a strange greenish tint to their skin. After beating the truth out of them, he learned that their gang, the so-called Trolls, was based out of Paragon City in Rhode Island.
Ricky hitchhiked his way across the country and arrived in Paragon City. He learned that here, costumed vigilantes were allowed to fight crime. After a trip to city hall and some initial investigative work (using the codename 'Riki-Oh'), Ricky learned that Detective Wincott in an area of the city called "The Hollows" was looking for heroes to help him battle against the very enemy Ricky sought: the Trolls. With a determined grimace, Ricky took the train from King's Row to Atlas Park and began his march into battle.
Wincott was all too eager to give the young martial artist a chance to fight the Trolls, and introduced Ricky to another local gang, the Outcasts. He explained how all of the street gangs in Paragon were involved with the drug trade in some fashion, and then he turned the leash loose. Ricky quickly learned that his strength, determination, and speed made him more than a match for the local Trolls, and he quickly plowed through them.
Another Asian immigrant, Foreshadow, operated out of the Hollows as well, and helped the Police by advising and training new heroes. Foreshadow and Ricky hit it off and soon became fast friends. This can only bode poorly for Foreshadow in the future, as all of Ricky's friends so far in his life have died horrible deaths, frequently by having their face cut off, exploded, or punched into goo.
After raiding two Outcast hideouts and destroying their weapon caches, Ricky was sent to assist an undercover police officer named Flux. Flux gave Ricky one directive to prove his trustworthiness and worth: Clean up the streets. Ricky soon found himself in one of his favorite places: punching in the faces of drug dealers. Even a bullet to his head couldn't stop Ricky, because he dug it out, sewed up the wound with his hair, and waded back into the fight.
After that show of Force, Ricky was sent to rescue a unit of police officers that had been taken hostage by the Trolls. There were a lot of Trolls, but Rickky was in his element and the Trolls went down one after another. Deep in the hideout, Ricky encountered the local boss, a tough named Gragnor. Their battle was fierce, and Ricky had to punch and kick Gragnor several times. In a move of desperation, Gragnor ripped his own arm off to use as a club, but Ricky deftly deflected the blow and punched Gragnor in the face, shattering the Troll's cranium. Meeting again with Flux, Ricky taught Flux how to turn a leaf into a flute and play it.

With the police rescued, Ricky can continue his war against drug dealers and redeem his sister, whose death he holds drug dealers responsible for. First the Trolls and Outcasts, then anyone else that gets in his way.
