I've never talked to a historian before, much less one interested in me or my home. So I guess the place to start is with the simple sorts of things. My name is Aisy. I'm from the city of Jamesport, which is on an island named Thanegal. The city is named after Captain Edward James, who worked for the ACC a long time ago. His ship crashed there, and we Thanegalians are mostly the descendants of the crew.

Jane: I'm boiling a roast. How hot and wet do you like it?

Lt. Frank Drebin (Police Squad): Very hot, and awfully wet.

And to think Saylin kept telling Reisma that drugs were bad. Psh. Just look at the awesome.

Of course you're not on, Serigo.

[01:56] * Reisma pictures OLAD DBZ.
[01:56] < Reisma> * Foldy drops in Pulse Ammo. "I'M SENDING YOU TO ANOTHER DIMENSION!"

Yay!

I guess there goes OLAD for tonight.

[23:24] < Serigo> THAT didn't go as initially planned, but I suppose it's a lesson in adaptation.
[23:24] < Reisma> Or you could have, you know, hot had the Dragons talking about that. :p
[23:25] < Reisma> Then we would have beat them up and learned the awful truth after the fight - which is genre-wise more fitting.
[23:27] < Reisma> Or perhaps instead of pitting us against the dragons right off the bat, having some sort of enchanted guardians would have been nice. Then we could overhear the dragons before any confrontation, and plan our attack.
[23:29] < Reisma> On the other hand, I'm glad someone other than me is getting plot :p

I guess, to restate that in a less off-the-cuff manner:

I really would have liked to have some real combat in OLAD tonight. But it's nice that the situation wasn't stupidly forced down our throat.

OLAD

That was fun, even though people didn't show because of Thanksgiving.

So what went right during this session? I sure complained enough, didn't I?

Well, I liked seeing Karina take charge and do something other than be silent and stab things. Stopping to plan a little with other players might be a good idea, but at least you were doing stuff and making things happen.

Asaph was awesome. I don't know why, but she was last night. Just awesome.

I got to hit people with Reisma's mandolin. That was fun. Getting some good rolls after those crappy ones I had with the guard was nice.

The battle was pretty great. It was still too easy, I think, but that may have just been the circumstances - where we had them in a Pincer attack - as opposed to the caliber of the enemies. At some point I want to see an enemy cast Toad on Rooko or Saylin. The reason why should be obvious. >.>

Coming away with that prisoner at the end was good. We'll figure out what we're going to do with her later.

Short looking list, I know. Talking about things you like is always harder than talking about things you dislike. I had fun. I think most everyone else did after we got off of the Trolley nonsense.

So, the complaining in this section will be about the players. Always a fun topic.

For my part, I got entirely too grumpy at certain people. I just wanted to sit out most of it after the hesitant breaking-in-without-a-plan. I still got swept along and kicked major bootay. I was also a little slow during the battle sometimes, but I hope I wasn't so bad.

Asaph was awesome. Especially that soul-eating thing. o_O

Remora needs to cut down on FoldyXtreme and the constant "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE" thing. It's okay to be normal every now and then. Really, it is. This isn't the 90's anymore.

Karina got kind of annoying for a while, but she got better.

Jade, no offense, but you can dial the emo back on Clotho just a couple notches. Really. No one will notice but me, I swear. And I'll give you cunning linguistics in return. I know you want to stay in-character, and that's great. I'd just like to see her happy every now and then during a session. Maybe just a little smirk at a joke she didn't tell people.

Amatsu, I realize it was getting late, but next time you're going to be slow figuring things out, just throw people a bone like ((Hey, I'm trying to figure out what to do)). It helps keep people from thinking you're slow. Or at least I hope it does. God knows I have to throw enough of those little notes out. Sometimes I get some awesome ideas back from people, too.
